Slotz Racer is a fantastic virtual version of all of the fun you had as a kid with a slot car track. With up to 4 players at once on the same screen using a great innovative control system, and over 20 tracks to race, it’s a load of fun.
But there’s also the killer feature that really sets this release apart from many other racing games. You can email tracks you create to anyone else within the game. Doing so is as easy as selecting the email track option in the track editor and selecting an email address from your contact list. This sends a 5 character code to the recipient who enters that code to download the track. This works very well and is very quick.

SlotZ Racer takes you back to the days of your youth, when you received that cool new slot car racing track for your birthday, tore it open, put it together, dropped the slot cars on the track, and then proceeded to place the car back on the track around a thousand times because you kept hammering down on the accelerator.
At $1.99, SlotZ Racer is a fantastic deal on the App Store. I loved the multitude of tracks, cars and levels and the track editor just adds to the replay factor. Sometimes the best racing isn’t happening on the track or in the city streets of Italy. Sometimes it’s happening in your basement.

…I didn’t know what to expect from this game, but man was I surprised. It rocks, I spent the last three days playing it. It’s the first racing game that does not use the accelerometer to steer and that’s because you don’t steer… This game it all about control, you have to understand when to gun it and when to slow down in order to win a race… I really love this game, it’s a lot of fun, it’s very competitive and a lot of imagination went into it which you don’t see often in racing games. I really can’t see anything else they could have added to this game. It’s a gem out of the box… We give SlotZ top honors of 5 thumbs up.

I couldn’t be happier about this new find in the App Store. It’s a game for all the ’slot car racers’ out there… Priced at $2.99, Slotz Racer is worth every penny… Especially if you were into the whole slot car scene when you were younger (or even now!?). Without a doubt, tons of fun, and one of my favorite games for the iPhone yet. Two thumbs up, way up!
