iPhone/Android App Developer

Job Description

Freeverse is looking for a performance-oriented iPhone/Android app developer intern for the spring semester.

As an iPhone app developer intern you will work directly with the company's CEO and game producers on various projects.

You will gain practical experience working on iPhone apps with a global reach. Freeverse apps have been prominently featured in official Apple commercials and advertising, New York Times articles, and gaming sites like Joystiq.com and Kotaku.com.

This is an unpaid internship which may lead to a paid internship next summer or in a future semester.

Qualifications

Student candidates must submit samples of work demonstrating their skill in Objective-C and/or C++ and/or Java and/or Javascript (whew). A working application (either in a sandbox development environment or published in the App Store) would be a big plus - as would knowledge of Xcode, Cocoa, Eclipse, and familiarity with designing user interfaces.

(If you have skills in C++ but not Objective-C, that's ok. But you should confidently be able to explain the difference between Objective-C and C++. If you've only lived in Javascript but fancy yourself pretty good at it, that's ok as well!)
